Fisheye Fun - something new from Yosemite
Had a great week in Yosemite last week, with perfect weather and great clouds for interest. I'm doing a composite of several fisheye shots like these on one large mat, and am looking for comments and suggestions. I love this perspective, with the water seeming at eye-level and more of the surrounding peaks included.

D200, 8mm fisheye lens, F8, 1/80, exposure -3, ISO 100
Full frame, levels, sharpened

It's pretty unique and I kinda like it...but I'm not seeing a round image like this that will hang on a wall properly. The clouds look a tad over exposed as well.

At first I though that you were under that bridge out past the Ahwahnee. I'm not sure I like the circular framing though.

I kind of like it! It's different and your idea does sound kind of cool. The sky has a big hot spot thats kind of distracting.

Sandy: Do you have Nikon Capture 4.0.x? If so, what does this look like processed with the fisheye box checked? Could be cool. Let me know.

It will help you in removal of the "bent" line associated with this lense. I think you will like it. I certinaly use it frequently when I use my 12.5 Fish Eye.
