Something out of season

From last Autumn at Silver Falls. Even though we are having a great spring, I'm still looking forward to Autumn again! It's my favorite time of the year.

An interesting note: It was like a wind tunnel down at the bottom of these falls (This is either upper-middle-lower north or south I can't remember falls-who named these anyway??). The leaf I put on the rock was visibly moving in the wind, but somehow it came out pretty sharp in all but a couple of the exposures I took.

Cheers,
Mike

Nice shot. I don't think I'd have admitted to posing the leaf were I in your situation.

And that's Lower South, btw.

I'll be here this coming fall, for sure. I like this perspective of the falls, and the image is beautiful...

I'd be up for a trip to Silver Falls in the fall.

It's a good shot and it's a nice shot but I'm not all over it.

Beautiful, but the leaf looks like it was staged, even if you didn't fess up to it  There is something about the angle of the top of the falls that makes me tilt my head CCW. Seems like a little perspective correction would help ?

Nice image, is Silver falls an area with good fall color ? I have never been there yet.
