Sugar Hill Field NH
This was taken on Sat 6-11 in the field by St Matthews Church on Rt 117. The flowers were not at peak yet, many very small still and not as many groups of flowers yet. But the weather and the flower conditions made you work a bit more to find the right photo.

This was taken, on a tripod, with a Canon 20D and the 28-300mm lens (@300 mm to make for a nice background). 1/160 sec f8 (that gave me the depth of field that I wanted) -2/3 exposure compensation. I like the water droplets on the leaves. I like the darker purple in the front and then the two shades of pink blurred in the background followed by the soft green.

Wow, great dof, great background. The 300mm lens really helped you compress the field and make the scene stack up and pop! Well seen, composed and snapped! :jump:
