Hello all
I am an east coaster, heading out to Sheridan for a conference, but will have mornings and evenings free. Will be camping off Rt 14, any ideas of locations for sunrise/sunset landscapes, wild flowers and animals, i would love to hear. Cannot do all day hikes due to meetings (bummer) but will have quite a bit of time.
I wish I could help you out more, but I've only been to Sheridan once. - and enjoyed it.
When I was there (fall) there were tons of Antelope on the open rolling hillside. The irragated fields would be full of them (evenings) as well as some elk along the creek areas where there was a bit more tree cover. Also, we would see some working cowboys on horseback working fencelines once in a while.
