Skipper
This was taken on a small boggy pond which the locals had fought to save thankfully, very pretty spot with loads of fauna and flora. Great that people all over are saving a small bit.

Cheers now

Tim
1/500th at f/7.1, D2X and 300mm with 36mm extension, huge crop as taken by surprise as trying to photo closer damsels.

Really amazing for a grab shot Tim. Superb patterns from the shadows on the leaf and the legs. Shame about that oof grass blade, but you take what you can get with an unplanned shot like this.

With crops like these, you're making me think I should get the long glass off my D200 and onto my macro lenses.

Hello Tim
You were certainly quick on the draw here, a nice result, but I would clone out the offending grass top LHS.
Best wishes

Gorgeous colours, texture and sharpness on the skipper and a bit of cloning would be justified, I feel.
