Prickly Sow Thistle Seed Head

Have run out of dandelions, so I thought I'd try a seed head of the
Prickly Sow Thistle (Sonchus asper).
Sony DSC F717 hand held, fill in flash bounced off the palm of my hand for the pinkish effect.

A different idea and a good effort but needs a bit more contrast I feel.
