I've seen a lot of posts of Wahclella Falls lately, and even though this is my favorite waterfall so far and I love seeing every angle I can, one thing that I always notice about the waterfall is the bottom cascade is such a powerful force of water that it is almost always a big blur of whiteness in nearly every shot I've seen. So I tried some new techniques that I've been practicing in PS to try to get a blended picture to something that keeps some water movement, but not to the point that it's a total washout of white.
This is not to detract from anyone else's shot of this spot, and I have plenty that look like this. It was more of a personal test to see how easily it could be done.
I'll post the pic and let you all decide if you like it better this way or the usual way. BTW, the wildflowers are overflowing in the Gorge right now
Kevin, I really like this departure from the typical long exposure waterfall. This is what my eye see's and you have captured it nicely. Now if you would just include a little more greenery above the falls to place the falls in the upper right third intersect and give the foreground more contrast or dodging. My eye keeps coming back to the bright foreground.

Kevin,
I like it. I different view which isn't easy :)
I agree about the pure white falls, I do the same. I also, like your signature FG. Well done

Nice work Kevin. At first the FG brightness didn't bother me, but the more I look at it, yeah, I agree you should try to darken it a bit. but as it is, hey, this is a terrific shot. I love it.
