I am trying to plan a trip to Tuscany next spring / early summer and wonder when the poppy season generally occurs. "Normally" when do the flowers bloom and for how long? Thanks

May-June, I would say. And how-long depends on the weather..but italy is far better than germany-holand with this regard.

Hi Bob,
April, May, June and July are great months for flowers. Usually the best month for poppies is June; the bloom lasts for 3-4 weeks.
