I shot about 7 frames here before a skunk ran out from under my feet. Thank goodness he was a friendly skunk! The sun came out on cue. I know you guys are going to say to crop tighter but I didn't want to cut the tiny deer(3) out.

This is a beautiful barn, Tim. I kind of wish the deer were more noticeable - I wonder if there was any way to emphasize their presence - e.g. longer lense, different perspective, etc. The light on the barn is pretty good, though.
May all of your skunks be friendly

Hey Tim, nice barn! It's in a very nice setting with the tree covered hillside immediately behind. Nice patience to get the light on the barn. I think cropping down the trees about 2/3rds would really tighten up the scene and bring even more focus on the barn. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the comments guys. Tim, I shot this at 400mm so there wasn't much I could do with the deer. They were moving pretty fast, I didn't know they were there until they the first one was almost all the way across. I dont know why they were moving so fast, there is no way they were running because of me. If I can figure out who owns it I might get permission to go into the field. There is a bull in there that wasn't friendly, not to mention a skunk.
Wayne, I felt like the trees were a big part of the scene. I'm going to give it a look in a few days on one that has more DOF. Right now it all seems insignificant. I'm coming off one of my worst days ever and tomorrow is the anniversary of my worst day ever. Anyway show me some pretty pictures tomorrow.
