So... I've been in Ridgway for a month now. It took a while to find a place but now I'm all settled in and loving it here. I've been hiking and backpacking a lot and finally developed all the 4x5s that I've shot.

Check them out: http://www.widerange.org/gallery.php?gallery=sanjuans

Those are very nice photos. I did not know that lupines are already out. Thanks for posting!

Hey Momo, I should clarify... only the first nine photos in that gallery are new. The lupines and wildflowers aren't as nice this year... so far at least.

I'm jealous of your incredible access to the San Juans & I'm certain you'll continue to have us drooling over your images this summer. Great start for your gallery. I really like the winter moonlight shot of the Sneffels Range.

I suddenly feel ill. That reflection shot of Arrow and Vestal is one I've wanted for years.

Great image! I am in the San Juans myself. Actually, the San Juan Islands in Washington for the week.
No mountains like this here!

Absolute magic, I can't wait to get down there next month. I have to agree that the Arrow & Vestal shot is just sickeningly perfect.

Really nice work again Jack! I am jealous of your new home. Ridgway is a cool little spot and is a great home base for the San Juans!

Great stuff, I am still in awe of your shot of Storm King, I really need to make it to the San Juans soon.
