Afterglow
Captured after days of hiking into the remote North Cascades along the BC/Washington border off trail. This was near my campsite under the full moon. The North Cascades are rugged and grueling but never fail to amaze with astonishing wildflowers, mountains, lakes and streams. Canon EOS-3, Velvia 50 (this depicts the natural color palette of Velvia). 5-stop ND soft grad.

Completely beautiful Marc!!! I love the soft colors in the sky especially!

By chance were you in Cathedral Lakes park / Snowy Mountains (or near there) Its on the BC side of the Cascades. Trying to plan a trip there for late August - early Sept & looking for some opinions & suggestions!

Hey Marc what can you tell the rest of us about your hard and soft grads? You use them so beautifully---is there some trait brand or characteristic we should seek or avoid?

It's a pretty cool image. The warm tones and flowers makes this image what it is...although if I may be picky, I'd expect to see the foreground take on some more of the tones of the eve.
