Something in the Trees
Well, I've either been fricken at work, unpacking at home, or sickly lately. I was tooling around in my images tonight and thought I would play with this one some. After converting it to B&W, I did the orton thing on it, trying to give it some glow.
I had a pretty wide angle going on here, and I decided not to correct the barrel dist because it made the image more uneasy...ya know, sorta Blair Witch Project...
Let me know what ya think...

You blurred it a bit too, eh? certainly Witchy...

I just Orton'd one layer and sharpened the other one (before downsizing)

Too wierd, Rick. It took me awhile to fully grasp what it was I was looking at! You're right, though, it is definitely Blair Witchy feeling. I've used the Orton effect myself but never coming out with something like this...

I think it's got some cool factor to it... I kinda like it.

Rick,

This sure shows a dark side; perhaps you should get out and shoot more. (Like I'm one to talk...) Maybe ya shoulda saved this one for late October.

I like the way the canopy stitches together to form a ceiling.

Rick,
I have to say I like this also. It is unique and I'm sure it will have a place on someone's wall.
