Due to my cocking up the last image i went back to the lake yesterday to try for a better one, after a 3 hour wait the pair finally mated and this time i was ready,I posted this on the main forum yesterday and used the velvia plug in but it makes it abit over the top saturation wise so have toned this one down

A cracker!!! One of your best images. Congrats. Do you think they will be mating next week? I doubt it because these guys don't seem to be too active in this respect. I'll be in Geneva attending a meeting at WHO.
Hi Jarvier
Who knows,They are on eggs so was suprised to see them still at it,They are in a small river so photography is easy,I used my chest waders to get a low angle on them but its easy from the bank as well, where is WHO,The nest is at the other end of the lake to Geneva about 60 miles away

Well you may not be pleased with the last one, but imo you've nailed this one! The pose is fantastic and the reflection just adds to this!
WHAT A FANTASTIC IMAGE
