this is definitely one of the better sunsets I've seen while having a camera with me. I'm torn about lightening up the foreground a bit. What do you all think?
very cool. what are the pick/purple areas on the ground?

they're unplanted plots of farm land. The light was very magenta after the sun had set, so they tinted a bit from their normal brown. thanks for your comments.
Kevin,
That is an awesome sunset. This looks like the perfect candidate for a nuetral grad or a blend. I feel the need for some more detail in the foreground.

thanks brothers Lundh. I'll process one with more detail in the foreground (good thing I always bracket, bracket, bracket). I always worry about pulling too much detail out of the foreground and making it look unrealistic. It'll have to wait until I get back from the OR coast though.
