Cades Cove
While on vacation I went to Cades Cove looking for fawns(nope didn't find any) and so I came back with some does(many still pregnant) and bucks in their mid antler growing season. For this I used the channel mixer for conversion ,then adjusted color balance to add the sepia tone and finally touched it up with a bit of soft focus. Any thoughts and comments are appreciated.

Hey Leanne,

I like the overall feel to this. You did a great job with your conversion. Maybe a little more breathing room for the deer in the foreground might be in order. Did you crop this or did it come out of the camera as such?

Richard,
Finally a taker! :-)
There is a tad more room in the full shot FG but not anymore room on the facial side of her. She walked up close and I was using a 200-400mm lens. I had scooted back 3 times already! I appreciate the feedback. I find I have the hardest time with nailing my personal favorite subjects so your thoughts are a help.

Leanne,

Yep more room on the left so the deer doesn't lead your eye out of the picture. But it's a great shot.

Steve,
Thank you also. I will recheck my other shots and maybe cheat on adding extra room but shhhh don't tell.
