Somehow my monitor is not working properly. My brother in law was playing games on it and he adjusted gamma from inside of game. I got to know this yesterday. I tried to profile my monitor but then I see neon green spots on the dark/black areas. Adjust the default settings for monitor contrast is gone...
Dont know any way to set it to monitor defaults. Should I do it from the control buttons of monitor or in display properties?
Oh yes, I have Mitsubishi Dimondtron 21".
PLEASE HELP!!!

Prashant,

Do you have access to the game he was playing? Can you run it again and reset the gamma from there? Barring that, I would try to reset the monitor using the monitor's control buttons first and then adjust display setting in Windoze. Once this is done, try profiling your monitor again.

I hope you can get this sorted out!

thank PReston,
Seems I may solve the problem, I changed the gamma though the game /actually set everything to default as nobody knows what the value was before he changed it from inside the game). I have also set the display properties to default (funny it is brightness 100%, contrast 100% and gamma 1).

I then set my monitor (using buttons outside) to contrast 100%, brightness about 90 and temperature 6500K. Looks ok, lets see what Eye1 does tonight.
I will create the profile today and see.
