No choice
Shot this last night during a scouting expedition with Erik. The sky was of course cloudless and this was taken at 10pm! I had no choice but to convert this one, due to the lack of color. It's a fairly average shot, but I liked the symmetry of the treeline and it's reflection. It was a struggle to get clear reflections due to wind here. This was a one minute exposure.
BTW...Mosquito repellant is a must up around Hood now.

Really nice, Rick. I have to get up here next time there is a storm clearing... in October I'm guessing :jump:

Rick,
You beat me to the punch. I agree with the previous comments. Nice and simple. BTW folks, I have to confess, I was bad. During one of my brothers long exposures, I threw a log into the lake about 10 feet from his camera . It caused a big splash but didn't hurt any of his gear. Rick then was kind of mad at me and threatened to throw me in the lake. I have to tell you I was quite frightened. :jump:

John,
Yeah, winter is the time to be here...just before the lake freezes over.
Darren,
Thanks. I was attracted to the simple classy feel and I'm glad you got what I was going for.
Erik,
You suck!   Actually...what was running through my mind was my finger jamming deep into your eye socket  :wavey:

It sure is great to be an observer of the bountiful love between brothers!

I agree with the others Rick - simple, nice, relaxing!
