Photographing Horseshoe Bend. It was a bit scary to get under the focusing hood. I had to set the aperature by pulling the lens off the camera.

Dinosaur Foot

I had to look down - it was raining.

(I know, I know... a polarizer would have helped.)

I bet you thought I'd post am image of ice, didn't you?  Maybe later!

I found this awesome area of cracked mud just a little west of Goblin Valley State Park in Utah a few years ago, and could hardly stop shooting. Very fun stuff! This one was my favorite of the day!

GONE. Brent, I might have figured out part of the glitch. I just deleted my image in favor of posting something more along the theme of nature photography. In the process, it deleted your photo. Now that I think about it, I did the same thing when Nat's image disappeared (my original had not been saved for web use so I reposted it). Perhaps this will help in stopping the image stealing glitch.

Nice shots so far. I'm getting vertigo from the first one.

Here's a shot from yesterday, looking down...

As most of you know I am originally from Upstate NY. This picture is from my family's forest near Manlius, NY.

Walking Around Downtown Co Springs, I have to remember to look down too!

Weird damn bug...

I found this thing walking around my desk several years ago. It has two big needle-like front legs. Bloody thing still gives me the creeps. Anyone know what it is?

The shooting technique I used is posted below - hey, whatever works - right?
