The title describes me and my family moreso than this longhorn. Saturday, we had a relaxing day by this farm pond fishing. The old dilapidated barn looked photogenic so I took a few shots when this longhorn walked into the picture for a drink. I thought it looked even better with her in it!

I really like the quite and still water - very peaceful. I love the longhorn and the barn, though I'm not so sure about the space on the left.

Hey Jason! This is a really MOOOOving photo! Great setting and the inclusion of the longhorn adds a lot of interest. I understand what Tim said about the left but I think I like it because the tree and its reflection are highlighted and help to tie into the highlights in the trees throughout. Just my .02 worth. Thanks for sharing! :wavey:

Jason, I see some really interesting light in the grass in front, as well as inside the barn itself. And the watercress (?) behind the cow adds a lot of interest to me. I think I might have tried a vertical too, but I see you were zoomed-in all the way, so it wouldn't have been possible to tighten up the comp. Uh, how deep was the pond? Thanks for posting!

I actually did attempt a vertical, but the landscape format appealed to me more. I had issues getting a good, consistent exposure with the tops of the trees in the background still being fairly lit up, while the subject-containing foreground was in the shadow. Still, it isn't too bad.

Wayne, you will be impressed to know that I bagged a decent photo AND a bass in the same evening! :)
