Ok so I figured I would post this here as this is one of the most professional sites I belong to, and well maybe some of you can offer up some suggestions.
I have been evaluating stock agency's and while I know many a people who belong to the likes of Shutterstock, dreamstime, etc, I feel as though my images are worth more than earning a quarter (25¢) on every download. Also I am not real keen on royalty free anyhow....learned my lesson about that when I was an illustrator.
I have recently been in contact with ImageBase, which seems really nice, though they are new.. also based in South Africa...and it is RM... http://imagebase.co.za and they are interested in me. However before I make any commitments to any single agency, I would like to hear some suggestions on what to keep a look out for and so forth. Also can anyone recommend an agency to look at for those of us who are just starting out in stock? Any and all help is appreciated.
Thanks guys!
John

I highly suggest iStock, Colorado Image, and any of the other larger agencies. Keep it somewhat local or at least in a country you can be sure will respect the U.S. Copyright laws. as a corporate G.A. I use iStock a lot for our publications as wel as some of my own work when it fits a campaign. i have yet to check into Adobe Stock yet but I will. Comstock is highly rated too.

John, you may have better luck posting this in the NPN Photo Marketing Forum. You may also find some discussions that have already been held on some of this. http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/bbs.cgi?a=vf6&u=1885
