Fun with macro

I went up to Godlen Gate Canyon yesterday. Not a ton of flowers, but a good variety. Here's one of a wild rose bush.

This is one of those shots that I am saying to myself "why didn't I think of that?". I love it! My only possible nit is removing the little orange/yellow leaf about mid way down on the left side.

Makes me want to dig out my macro lens and get creative.

I think it's rather unique too. On one aspect I think it's great because it is something that is often over looked as a subject and you took the chance and asked yourself, "What If?" Often the most missed compositional question.
