I like the design - very easy to navigate. Two things I would change - don't leave empty pages (e.g. the new work page), and place each of the full-size images into a nicely laid-out page with some text (at least a title) and navigation buttones rather than just linking to the image directly - after all it's the images that are the most important part of the site.

Chris, I enjoyed viewing your work in your website. And since you asked, I do have a suggestion concerning your home page. The first page I come to when I click on your website is the cover; like the cover on a book. When I click on the bird (gorgeous, by the way  ) I should come to the table of contents page. This page tells me what lies ahead for me to see and enjoy. The links that you have at the top of that page should be the main feature of that page. They're not. Instead there is a greater emphasis given to your background information and equipment used. I think you should provide a link to that information instead.
