As a one time heavy user of iView Media Pro (but now using Aperture more and more), I am at best ambivalent about this.

Iview was specifically recommended to me by a friend who is a wedding photographer. However... I also have Aperture. What I don't like about Aperture is the user interface. It just does not seem intuitive like other Mac software! Before I commit to any one image management software, I want to see the final version of Lightroom. Adobe has an envious record for doing software right. And besides, I'm still a hold out for film and can bide my time until everything comes together just right.
