While I waited outside and my wife was in an interview to teach at a new school, I found a perfect opportunity to explore a local garden for some flower power.
Shot with the Tamron SMP MF 90mm Macro 2.8 with extension tube. This lens isn't supposed to work on my camera, but the mounts fit and with digital all you have to do is bracket the heck out the composition and dial it in.
I'm using the Nikon D70 which usually only accepts Autofocus lenses, the issue is that my wallet doesn't have enough of the green stuff in it to get a new lens, this was the Tamron Macro manual focus model that uses the Adaptall Mount. I took it from my older Pentax System and got the Nikon Mount. AS you can see it does work, in fact I've gotten pretty used to it and with over 300 frames on a 2G card I have room to bracket all I want.
So until I can get the newer lens that will work on all D-SLR's, I'll just make due with this one. BTY I had the Tamron 80mm f/2.8 APO AF on my old Pentax system and it was great! But since I moved over to Nikon, I've had to just do it this way.

Nice work for just chillin' out while your wife was interviewing. The spider works really well in image one.
