Wool Carder Bees mating
Provide the habitat in your garden and the wildlife will come. I've grown Purple Toadflax for the last three years and this year a male Wool Carder Bee appeared for the first time. Today there also appeared a female and they promptly got it together very obligingly
in front of my camera.

My god, the fella's obviously a Ronaldo of bees. Great action shot although a little hot, some application of the photoshop burn tool could help.

Hi David

I've heard about the 'birds and the bees' and now I've seen it. Very nice shot!

Hello David
You're right about "reaping what you sow", it just shows that you don't necessarily have to travel to obtain interesting wildlife images. Well planted and well caught!
Best wishes
