Ivory Gull - record shot
Just a record shot from my trip to Svalbard. Ivory Gulls are rare breeders on Svalbard, and can primarly be seen around Polar Bears and their kills. I only saw this one Ivory Gull, as it quickly flew by me. I managed a few frames, but nothing spectacular. Liked this the most, with the backdrop of snowy mountains and ocean.

20D + 100-400 IS; iso400, 1/1000 f7.1; cropped to 75%.

PS. Thanks for all the nice comments on my Fox-post, I was quite over-whelmed

Nice record shot, would only straighten out the horizon!

Lovely pastel colours, a good sense of motion and feeling of space and peace.
