Do you remember the day we took these shots, same week as the Sweetwater trip I believe, couple of years ago? We waited a long time for the sun to go down and throw some nice light on the clouds. Pentax 67, 55 mm I think, Velvia 50. Taken from the north side of Mono Lake, Black Point, right below the fissures. Scanned with the new Microtek scanner, what a dream to work with.

A really nice one, Reno. I love the delicate colors in that cloud formation. I also like how you used a simple foreground to create an effective composition.
