Snowy Egret 2
Another snowy egret at Belmar Park. These guys move around pretty fast when fishing. They will open their wings to create shade. When a fish is lured into the shaded area, it's lunch time!

Nice!
A very slight nit pick would be that the bird is looking "out" of the frame but it really doesn't bother me at all.
Good capture!

Nice shot Dan! Very well composed. Good visual balance. Good action. Might be my monitor, but I seem to detect a very faint blue cast?

The exposure is excellent - a tough thing to do with a dark background. For this kind of shot, what was the thought process (spot metered? manual exposure?, etc...)?

Thanks for the compliments. Ususally, I always use manual exposure. For this one, I underexposed
by -2/3 so I would not burn out the whites and at the same time, make the background just a little darker.

Excellent, Dan! The exposure is perfect, as is the timing of the shot.
