I travel a lot. This past year, I've developed the habit of carrying copies of several hundred stock images with me (small external HDD) during my travels and it's paying off.
I recently sold a small image of Pikes Peak to a local real estate firm here in Woodland Park. You can see it here: http://www.pikespeaklistings.com/. Although I consider it a typical "bread & butter" sale, the cool thing was that the entire transaction was done via email - - while I was traveling in Malaysia!
This included the original inquiry, formating & emailing sample comps, final selection and replying with the digital file and invoice. The whole transaction took a couple days and the check was waiting for me once I returned!
I know many of you travel extensively and I'd be curious how you manage stock sales during these times?
