If anyone is around before noon today, can someone tell me how the road conditions are up on Boreas Pass and whether or not my car is ok up there. I have never been up there and am thinking about going shooting up there, but better safe than sorry. Thanks all!

Its been a while since I have been there but this is a car driveable road. You could call the local National Forest Ranger station in Fairplay or Dillon.

John - according to Fielder's "Best of Colorado", this is a very easy drive for a passenger car. We were up at Shrine Pass yesterday - definitely worth a visit if you're up that way. The flowers were looking great. Not sure about Boreas Pass, but the Shrine Pass road was very slick when it was raining, so I'd keep an eye on the weather.

Boreas Pass Road = Cadillac-worthy. Go for it, rain or shine.

This is probably too late. I was over Boreas on Saturday and the road is fine for any vehicle with normal clearance.

Well I am going to go up there this weekend instead, the weather turned kinda sour later in the day as ya all know, and the last place I want to be is on a pass with lightning lol So this weekend it is!
