A couple of weeks ago found me up here, which ironically I have never been to before. Finally getting near the end of finishing up postwork on over 400 shots. Thought that I would share a few with ya all. All shot on my Minolta 5d using a Minolta 18-200 DT lens and a singh-ray cpl. Looks like I have a new favorite 'close to town' drive. Geeeze, it is gorgeous up there with hardly any people.

ps---I have no idea why but when I went to update this topic to make the links clickable, it posted it to the UKNP area, I went back and made sure that RMNP was selected and it was....strange.

Beautiful compositions but I think you could have backed off the polarizer a little for a more natural looking sky.
Either way - some impressive and wonderful scenery.

Very impressive scenes, John. Depends on the effect that you're going for, but I agree with Guy about cutting back on the polarizer a bit, especially at high elevations.

The link thing happens from time to time. Not sure why. Seems like the UKNP is the default link for NPN and when things get screwy, that's where everything ends up pointing to. I'll keep an eye on it...

Very nice images. I agree with the polarizer idea.
