Iceland is a big country. Lake Myvatn is a great place, northern Iceland and there are good opportunitites along the coast. If i can give you a tip. Check out Daniel Bergmanns website http://www.danielbergmann.com/ and send him an email ask him for advise. He is a nature photographer lving on Iceland and im sure he will be able to give a few hints andtips near Reykjavik.
All of Iceland is wonderful , its worth going south to Jokulsarlon as the arctic terns and seals are close to shore , there are boat trips ,I imagine these are good. Puffins Skuas etc are good at Vik . The scenery is great everywhere . Myvatn is a duck experts paradise and is supposed to mean midge in Icelandic . As for walruses , probably need trips from the north perhaps from Akeyuri (?sp) .

2 repliesIt's all been very last minute so have not had time to research any wildlife locations.
Can anyone suggest any good places? It would be great to photograph some seals and maybe Walrus (??) are they around at this time of the year?
Cheers
