Wondering if anyone could help me with any ideas of something to go shoot this Sunday, Monday, and or Tuesday when I'm home... Was thinking about going out someplace like the Oregon Garden or Jap. Gardens with my mom, for something to do... and to use up the last of the 120 roll in my camera... But didn't really want to go all the way up to Portland, was thinking something like around Salem, or down near Eugene...

But now I may end up making a run to PDX anyways to give a friend some SCUBA gear he wants to buy off me (selling all my dive gear since I just don't have the time to go anymore)

Was thinking about a wildlife refuge and getting some birds or other critters, but that won't use my Medium Format up (not with a 75mm lens) and I only have a 200mm for my longest lens anyways, plus I have bad luck with finding critters... had about 10 birds and squirls close enough to shoot with a 100mm today, but of course thats cause I had no camera on me :)

We've been kinda leaning twoards the Oregon Garden... I never did enjoy it as much as the Jap Gardens, it is larger, but it's a bit hard to frame out the concrete, people, etc... and is closer to home... plus no shade and it's likely to be HOT!

Thanks in Advance.

Japanese gardens is an optimal choice. Not sure if the roses are still in bloom in the sarrounding rose gardens though. The Hoyt Arboretum is another good option if you want to stay in downtown and vicinity. Try Forest park too.
