I like these butterflies, they sit and pose for you in the sun.

Hi Tim,

Absolutely stunning, but then again I would'nt expect anything less from you. Bit of a shame the bottom of the right wing is very slighty clipped by the leaf, may well be worth cloning that out. The resolution and colours that d2x of yours produces is mind blowing.

Well Done

Regards

Rob

Tim, i think its a lovely image. I wish i would have the patience for this kind of photography. My only nit is the bright leave on the left hand side of the image...but other than that: fab!

Colouration is great as is the detail but the forground leaves spoil it for me-still plenty of these guys around at the mo so more oppotunities-look forward to more :toast:

A great photo, Tim - great complimentary colours and quiet BG. I think I would clone out all other leaves than the central one! :toast:

Tim, a beautiful image. I think the glossy leaves (holly?) give an added dimension indicating the sunny conditions. The Comma frequenting my garden at the moment refuses to open its wings when at rest. :frown:

Hi, here's an further edited version, though I'm not sure in this instance in removal of highlight.

Hi Tim,

Great image, I'm in the camp to keep the leaves but to tone down the highlights on the left hand one..... perhaps an overlay just on that area via a layer...

Hi Tim...

Hope you don't mind took the liberty to carry out the edit I suggested....

Sampled the green from the leaf near the bf, selected just the leaf with the highlights, create a new layer, fill the selected area with the sampled colour, reduce opacity to taste, clone at low opacity a bit of textrure and finally a small amount of blur to blend the work and make the leaf less obtrusive.

All the best

Phil

Hi Tim

A great image to start with, but I am mega impressed with Phil's cloning on the leaf. I would not have believed it possible to tidy up the image in this way and not have in noticeable. Superb PS work, but a great shot to start with. :toast:

cheers
