Bear Grass in Motion
I applied a radial blur to this grouping of beargrass that caught my eye.

Sidenote: I've noticed a lot of posts, but not everybody it commenting. It's just a common courtesy to comment on other's images if your an active poster. We all want feedback on our images... :wavey:

Not your typical beargrass shot, is it?

Anyway, the glow around the flowers is kinda cool. The way the stem of the middle one is twisted is kind cool. Seems like you've got some new techniques to play with.

I'm stuggling to find a message here. Summer's going down the drain?

Uh, way cool image, but you didn't really need me to tell you that, you knew it already, didn't you? Beargrass looks like this when it's about half way to its peak blossoming, the flowers at the bottom of its stalk start opening first and then the ones higher up. You show the beauty in what most people would look at and just say "not really blossoming yet..."

Great job on the creativity. The image really catches your eye and makes you think about what is happening.

I have to ask as a non-pacific northwesterner, does anyone know why it got the name beargrass?
