What a strange day,I was driving to the Jura for ibex when a badger run across the road in front of me and then as i slowed run along side the car-very early so no chance of a shot,About a mile further on and a fox with cubs then a miserable morning sitting in cloud but found some ibex females and they had 3 very young (days old)calves? so got plenty of shots with them feeding when i noticed a small bird land above them when i looked through the viewfinder it was a wallcreeper the first i have seen in real life,i took 2 frames which are specs in the image and then fitted the 2x only to see a flash of red and it was gone,On the way back to the car i found this little chap,it looks like some sort of blue as i have both wings open and closed and guess its a female but cant see exactly what in my books
