Evening all.

I want to get a lens cover for my 500/4 IS. Not really bothered about waterproofing but want a snug fitting, easily removable camo cover.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Appreciate any help.

Wildlife Watching Supplies made some for my 600F4, they will make them to order and are very reasonable, my whole set cost less than £40. Ask him to make them a tight fit, as mine were a little on the loose side.

Graeme,

If you go with WWS and chose the off the shelf cover you may find this a little short as it is designed to be used with their camera cover and can move about exposing the white lens colour .If you get the camera cover aswell then no problem I use mine with an extender fitted to the 500/4 IS and all is covered.Otherwise get them to make an extra long lense cover.

Hi Graeme...

I just bought three lens hood covers from WWS trimmed them to fit my 400/2.8.....

Works well and a lot cheaper than some other alternatives.
