This was taken on Thursday between Lake of Glass and Sky Pond in RMNP. It won't let me repost the image so here is a link. http://morninglight.us/forum/misc/falls.jpg

Uh-oh! I think I messed up this thread. My picture double posted, so I deleted them, and the next time I checked the thread Erik's picture is gone. Sorry guys and Erik

Small offshoot of Copeland Falls, rocky Mtn Nat'l Park.

Previously posted, but I really like it. One of the cascades on Catamount Falls near Green Mountain Falls. Shot with a D5, 24-105/4 and polarizing filter.

Sheesh, here's the picture. One of these days, I'll learn how to use a computer...

Since Adam has that awesome thread and pictures from Porphyry Basin, I thought I would share a picture I took last year there of the falls right below the road during the peak of wildlfower season.

Here's another shot from Japan. The mountain was far brighter than the falls, so I combined two exposures for this shot.

Wow, Brain, that is a terrific image :toast:

My favorite waterfall that I've shot is Columbine falls; I've got to go back and get this one at sunrise and from different angles.

Some really great shots from everyone. :toast:

Brian, that shot of Porphyry is killer! I wish we could have had flowers like that when I was there last week.

American Basin, Colorado.

adam, this is a fantastic image. I guess you have used a GND or blending, but there is no trace of it.

Here's one from the past week up in Green Mountain Falls, CO "Crystal Creek Falls"

This wasn't shot in Colorado, but it is one of my favorites. It was shot in the Columbia Gorge in Oregon.

Brian, gorgeous image; love it.

Adam, your American Basin pick is really nice too, but that blue water seems out of place compared to the snow. Is that how it really looked?

Hello all! Brian, I love your wildflower and falls shot!

Okay, I'm always a little nervous about posting images in this forum's amazing company of photographers, but here goes.

Not exactly "falls." This is Avalanche Gorge in Glacier National Park. We just got back from a grand tour of three national parks with the Speers.

that's really fantastic Denise...certainly nothing to be self-conscious about

everyone's shots are just amazing.

mine hardly qualifies as a "waterfall" when comparing to the shots here, but...

Generic Falls

that's up around Berthoud Pass, believe it or not. follow any of those streams upwards, and you'll find similar scenes. it's a flowing water paradise.

Thanks, Mark! I like your cascade, too. I have trouble deciding how much to blur the water. Yours definitely has nice "flow appeal."

I also really like the side angle of James and David's shots.
