Drygalski Fjord
The last day of my trip to South Georgia we were going to a small colony of penguins and one of the northern most colonies of Weddel seals. Well, the weather is not cooperate at all. We awoke to 25-35 knot winds. The expedition leader and the ship captain decided that we could sail to almost the end of the Drygalski Fjord. Very dramatic place.

The winds were horrible, in fact it seemed that the flying birds were almost stationary in the air.

I do not do many landscapes, but I was wondering what you thought about his one.

Thanks for any possible suggestions,

This is simply awesome. You need to post this on ESS! The image appears 3D with the great depth.

Those are some burly mountains! It's hard to get a sense of scale here, except that it's BIG! I like somewhat abstract peak shots like this.

If any one is interested in the scale of these peaks, they come stright out of the ocean to about 4-5000 feet. I felt very small next to these.

Thanks for all of the comments,

I really like the vertical format of this image. It really looks dramatic.
