As it looks now, I'll be waving down at you either weekend, unable to attend. I have scheduled to take off the following week already, so I think I'm out :(
My vote is based on the climatology of the region, and should only be taken as such!

Jim, I think the 14th/15th may be a little late for that area?? It's usually pretty good around the Woodstock area then. It seems like we did it around the 1st a couple of years ago when we stayed in St. Johnsbury, and the color was OK North of there. I guess at this point, if we are focusing on the Littleton area, and higher elevations in VT/NH, I would opt for the 30th/1st.
Jim: I haven't replied because I can't commit at this point. My preference would be the weekend of October 14-15. I will keep watching your posts to keep updated, and will let you know if I am able to attend.

Hi Jim! As I work most weekends at the sporting camp, I can only try to ask off whichever Saturday of the one you all vote for and hope to get it off. So I may not even be able to attend. And I normally do the Littleton Art Show every year and that is scheduled for the 23rd and I'm not too sure about that either.

In my opinion, the weekend of the 30th would be best as far as foliage. I know of a really nice hike that everyone would enjoy. The Zealand trail in the Twin Mtn. area. It takes you to three waterfalls and one of the huts in the trail system in the Whites. I haven't done it in several years but it takes you through nice varied terrain.
Just a thought!!

At this point the weekend of Oct 14 /15 works best for me. But at this point I can not commit to be there, I have a few things up in the air for that weekend.

Hello, my name is Mike McNeill and I'm a new member as well as new to photography. I would be interested in get togethers to meet others, as well as learn the craft.
Now back to the thread..... I'll be taking my motorcycle to my place in Colorado and leaving on Sept 23rd and returning on Oct 9th, so.... I like the weekend of Oct 14 /15!

Hey Jim,
Have you decided on a date yet? You may want to decide soon, so people have time to get hotel reservations. That time of year can book up fast! Just a thought.

Either of those weekends works for me so far that I know of, but I can't really commit until I know my job situation.
