Marina Reflection
This was taken 2 weeks ago on the coast in Tillamook, my hometown!

I have always wanted to capture this scene but the water was either moving, or there were too many boats down there....as I was driving home from the beach I noticed the stillness of the water and the color in the sky....I pulled over....walked on the bridge and took several shots.... and I really liked this one best.....

a simple image....

Darren,

I like this image, and am glad to see a pre-visualized image work out for you (it means there is hope for me!).

A couple comments are that it seems a bit centered to me (vertically), which I think you might be able to fix by cropping some of the sky? It also seems that their is more green to the sides of the building than may be necessary. Perhaps a crop to a vertical composition would fix that? Maybe pasting in a lone boat (or a moon) .

It looks like Tillamook to me.

Best regards,
-Brett

Awesome, always nice to finaly get something on film you've been after for a long time... I know white pelicans have been that way for me, and I finnaly recently got some decent ones... I'm kind of curious how it might look with a little bit of movement in the water, I like it how it is, but I'm thinking just a little movement in the water could be equally as good, but with a little different mood...

Darren,
Maybe a little off the bottom would work. The lines in the reflection which I presume are power lines are a little distracting. Over all I do think it's a nice image.

I think this is a decent image, but I really like the idea of cropping out all of the sky (not at all in the reflection). It really makes it feel like you are standing right there. Perhaps it would also be nice to captue this in the even with sweet clouds and soft light.
