Artic Tern chick demanding food.
SD10, Sigma 100-300mm @ 300.
Spent a pleasent hour at near the Tern colony and moved in quietly so as not to disturb the birds. We called this one Fat Bay Slim as memeories on it evoked memories of the Billy Bunter illustrations immediately sprang to mind as soon as Is aw it.
Comments welcome.

good pose!! If it's full frame I'd crop heavily and lose the dark rock at top of frame.
It's a sort of "get a bloody move on, I'm hungry" type of photo.

Makes me smile, what a splendid pose! Thinking of it the parents are often shouting at full pelt to. Pic wise I reckon a touch more contrast (although this maybe an artifact of my work monitor) and usm.

Hello Steve
I agree with Peter about the crop, it is distracting. Nevertheless, an image with immense character which I like.
Best wishes

Funny shot, Steve. I might boost saturation a bit.

I really love the image, but have to agree on the post-pro' tips mentioned before.
