Monday Night Lights
For those of us on the north side of town Monday night, Mother Nature traeted us to a wicked intense electrical storm. I decided that it was still far enough away to be safe (again I was wrong) and thought I would capture some of it. So I went out, sat in the middle of my cul-de-sac and had a go. I got quite a few, this is one of the better ones. It got so intense after about 10 minutes that I had to get inside because I could literally feel it coming. Just thought I would share, nothing fancy..............J

Impressive display! Was that multiple hits, or just a single strike? I'm surprised hom many little "stringers" there are!

Thanks all.
Ken, that was one burst, they were all like this, from the west flowing northward and to the east, one giant horse shoe of a storm.

Wow! We saw this as we were headed home Monday night. Great that you captured the power of that storm. Does anyone else see the lightning-man-stick-figure?
