In keeping with Scott's theme in an earilet post.... of thistles
(they are really going with all this rain!). This image , though in my opinion not a real "winner" is just a shot of a pretty natural site that was just a nice place to be for a few minutes last weekend.
Not all images need to be "killer" to be enjoyable. For me this is one.

I think this is a nice picture. To me it juuust misses. I might have framed a little differently, but it really looks like a nice spot, with the old building and all the flowers in front of it.

Jack this does look like a good place to spend some time. I do wish for a little better light on the subject and a polarizer may let the image pop a little more. Really though this is a pretty decent image.

Robert--you are right... the light was just not that great ( actually did use a pol. filter---it was as good as I could do!).
Scott--I would have done a little different framing but there were lots of distracting plants, etc on either side.
This bard goes back to about 1820's and is part of the HALE FARM area (Western Reserve) located within the Cuyahoga National Park. Lots of old period buildings
Thanks for the comments guys.... that's why I'm here!
Jack,
Looks like a neat location. I love old buildings and flowers. To me the image appears a little cold. Perhaps a bump up in color temperature or the use of a warming filter may have helped.
