Into the Fog
as I revisit old photos I found this one I took early morning last summer......PDX airport was fogged in but the planes were still flying....I have really really played around with this image but I always come back to this one.....its very natural and as close to what I saw as possible.....

enjoy!!!

Man, Darren, you really had me fooled on this one! I opened up this topic and saw... nothing!! I pressed the refresh button and still nothing! Then I realized that there was more window I hadn't scrolled down to view and when I did I saw the rest of the picture. Hmmm...

Actually, I find this to be an interesting shot. I couldn't say that I love it but it definitely attracts my interest. The fog was obviously low and thick to produce the trailing effect seen. Thank goodness for instrumentation, eh?

Definatly unusual. I'll have to give you a high reading on the coolness meter.

Very original image, and I love the way it fades out in to the page...like eternity or something like that.

Interesting but not loving it. The fog looks like noise for some reason - was this shot at high iso ? The fog in the bottom 1/2 of the image seems blotchy to me.

That would be a GREAT movie poster.

Darren, there is an unusual noise look to the fog, but I think it's cool. :toast:

This is exactly how it was shot.....its not an image I love either but I do find it interesting how it turned out.....and yes, it must have been shot on a high ISO....but to be honest...I have no idea....Thanks for all the comments!!!
