Pawnee report
Howdy,

I was out on the Pawnee Grasslands last night and had the place to myself. It's pretty green out there after all the rain last week. Wildlife is everywhere - lark buntings, all of the summering sparrows (lbj's = little brown jobs) meadowlarks, night hawks, pronghorn, jack rabbits, Swainson's hawks.........

The summer light is great with the massive clouds drifting across the sky. It's a great place to spend a hot summer night.

The attached image is the chalk cliffs on the northern end of the grassland.
