Taken using the car as a hide.
This young Hare originally crouched right down as I drove by him.
I reversed back, and he still remained in a crouched position.
I sat and waited and shortly afterwards he got up and started to chew on the grasses.
It was quite a bit windy at the time and I thought the swaying grasses added to the effect.
Blimey theres enough Hares on here to make a wig today..... I really like this Major, I might have tried even slower shutter speeds too, so as to get even more movement blur in the grass, nice one!
Aaaww, what a beautiful hare. Lovely photo, I am envious, only ever seen one hare and that was in a split second as it dived into the undergrowth when I was living up North. Never seen one in Bournemouth, would love to be able to though.

Is today National Hare day or something, certainly it is on the UKNP forum
Excellent shot, I think the swaying grass around the hare really makes this shot, good detail and colour too in the hare.
Maybe a tad more contrast would enhance it a fraction?
cheers
