Gerald Ford Rose Garden (w/ Repost/s)
Took this at the Gerald Ford Birth Site, and Rose Garden, in Omaha, NE... my understanding is the garden is modeled after the White House rose garden. so that was kind of cool... neat little garden, not very large, this composistion inspired by my Seagull TLR 6x6 camera, though I was using a 100mm macro on the Canon, so the framing is much tighter, and more zoomed, but the idea and concept remained the same...

I know the highlights burnt out somewhat, but I thought the colors and saturation was wonderfull... no boosting the saturation was done... pretty much as shot (as I usually do) polarizer used, and twas sometime afternoon, probably round 3-4pm local.

Some pretty vibrant colors you captured. Maybe a little off the top to get rid of the barbed wire?

As you requested, also took a little off the bottom... I think I like that a LOT better, I didn't even notice the wire, I belive it was a phone wire though, as I was shooting upwards to get rid of the background, and the brick backstop on the planter.

Had a little fun and added a dry brush effect to the cropped version as well....
