Low Light
I'm saving you from a multitude of puffin images at the moment.

Home for a week... The Low Light, IOM.

24-105mm@24mm,Tpod
F9/250asa/1~8sec

Some shadows and highlights... wonder if I will ever be able to purchase a 617 digital camera and get it 'right' without the crop... must take film 617 out again soon. This image is cropped to Xpan dimensions and looks good in a 30" print

C U soon as am away for about 2 weeks on business...

I think the composition is nicely balanced, and the colours in the sky quite appealing. However, I think you should have given the lighthouse a lick of white paint before taking the shot!

Have to agree with Jeremy , it definitely needs painting...a PS job perhaps!?

Hi Tom

Lovely composition, it works for me.

My only nit is the sky looks a little bit blown out to me, although not enough to detract from a super image.

cheers

Keep the landscapes coming Tom.
Please tell me you never went to May to just get Puffins?

Hello Tom

What no Puffins  when I stopped there in 95 it was pure white looks in need of a paint job but I like it like this adds to the image.

Yea, I like it a lot, you can always finish the painting some other day and try again.
