If anyone is curious, the basin is filled with flowers (and photographers), and there are no mosquitos!

Darn it, I knew I left too early! I was there Friday morning and had nothing but flat blue skys with out a trace of cloud cover--and I saw plenty of the winged beasties. Really a nice shot and great job blending the exposures.

Momo, WOW  Great composition, perfect clouds and the flowers to boot. The only nit I see is the halo along the sky/mtn line at the upper right. I'm sure that can fixed with a little mask tweeking on the two combined images.

Post more; PLEASE.

Hi Craig. Thanks for noticing that halo. It comes from my blending edge being too close to the horizon. I will move it further down, which will make the hills a bit darker, but that effect would be seen using GNDs anyway. Thanks for the compliments.

Awesome shot! I really like the low angle with the flowers in the foreground.
